Future MemoriesCatherine Nelson
The ‘Future Memories’ series comprises of 20 floating worlds, meticulously composed with thousands of assembled details. Visual poetry, nature photography and digital techniques blend together to give shape to these transcendental landscapes. The result is a contemporary pictorial mythology that subtly reminds the viewer of a profound truth: that it is in the flourishing variety of the local that the fate of the world resides.

this is the gayest poster i’ve ever seen.

Are we just going to overlook the fact that they’re on the “S. S. Leviathan”?
(I’m not sure where I’m going with that, but there it is)

I love abandoned places where nature is taking over again. It always makes me think about how the world would be fine if the human race was all of a sudden obliterated - things would go back to normal, it would be one giant jungle of cities covered in nature again. Also reminds me of Castle in the Sky, the 1986 movie by Hayao Miyazaki.
(Cant remember who these are by unfortunately! There were a couple of them)

Let’s Go Shopping! | Made By Cassandra Smith
It’s been a while since I’ve been so taken with an item, but these antlers by Cassandra Smith are so gorgeous that I wish she lived in Australia just so I could have my own! And before you get upset (like I was about to!): ‘Shed antlers are cruelty free. Every year deer shed their antlers and re-grow new ones. The shed antlers are found lying in the woods’. These would be beautiful hung on the wall to hang jewelry from, or a decorative piece for any part of your house - like on a coffee table or above your bed.
